An annual tradition! 700 Wing visits the Kipnes Centre for Veterans and hosts Robbie Burns Day with the veterans. We address the haggis, and serve it with scotch for all of the veterans. The Edmonton Transit System Pipes and Drums provide the second piece of the entertainment.

About Kipnes

The Kipnes Centre for Veterans in Edmonton, Alberta, was established in 2005 to honour Canadian veterans and provide them with exceptional care. Named after philanthropists Dianne and Irving Kipnes, the centre reflects their commitment to enhancing healthcare and veterans' services.

Designed as a long-term care facility, it offers a home like atmosphere and specialized programs to meet the unique needs of its residents. With 120 beds, the centre prioritizes choice, independence, and dignity, ensuring veterans receive the care and respect they rightfully deserve.
